This pilot had three purposes. It was never released to VA production.
the three purposes of this pilot were:
1. To demonstrate the capability of the CBO (Chief Business Office) in generating and mailing the IRS required form (1095B) to veterans. Additionally, to gather data supporting the need to enhance VA's infrastructure to support future mailings of over 10M IRS forms each year.
2. Gauge the Veterans understanding of the IRS form via a letter and questionnaire on usefulness and clarity.
3. Position CBO to better construct FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) in future mailings.
