2.5 SEND DRUG FILE MESSAGES 0;5 SET
  • 'N' FOR NEW DRUGS;
  • 'U' FOR UPDATES;
  • 'B' FOR BOTH;
  • 'X' FOR NONE;

  • LAST EDITED:  FEB 26, 2016
  • HELP-PROMPT:  Select if users should be prompted to send HL7 messages to PADE during DRUG ENTER/EDIT option
  • DESCRIPTION:  This parameter will determine if the user will be prompted to send HL7 drug formulary messages to PADE when using the DRUG ENTER/EDIT option. When set to "N" (for New DRUGS), the user will be prompted to send a message to
    PADE only when the DRUG ENTER/EDIT option is used to create NEW entries. If the parameter is set to "U" (for UPDATES) then the user will only be prompted to send messages when updating/changing current entries with the
    DRUG ENTER/EDIT OPTION. IF this parameter is set to "B" (for BOTH), then the user will be prompted during both of these scenarios. If the parameter is set to "X" (NONE) or left NULL/blank, then the user will never be
    prompted to send NEW or UPDATES to PADE when using the DRUG ENTER/EDIT option.
    This parameter will also impact the functioning of the MASTER FILE update option, which can always be used to send the formulary messages for one or all appropriate drugs to PADE. As defined above, setting this parameter
    to "N" (NEW), "U" (UPDATE) or "B" (BOTH) will allow you to send the formulary messages to PADE as new drugs. Setting to "X" or left NULL/blank, will not allow you to send any formulary messages to PADE.
3 INACTIVE DATE 0;4 DATE

  • INPUT TRANSFORM:  S %DT="EX" D ^%DT S X=Y K:X<1 X

  • LAST EDITED:  DEC 09, 2015
  • HELP-PROMPT:  Select if HL7 messages should be sent to PADE for admitted patients if they have clinical appointments, surgery cases or check-ins.
  • DESCRIPTION:  This parameter applies to ADMITTED patient only. Enter "YES" if HL7 scheduling messages should still be sent when checking in clinic appointments (IP appointments) or surgical cases (via manual option/background task)or
    background job when the system finds that the patient is ADMITTED. This is vendor dependent and should only be set to "NO" when it is known that these messages could cause the inpatient to be removed from their IP
    location on the vendor device.
3.6 DAYS TO PULL AHEAD FOR BG JOB 1;1 NUMBER

  • INPUT TRANSFORM:  K:+X'=X!(X>30)!(X<0)!(X?.E1"."1.N) X
  • LAST EDITED:  NOV 18, 2015
  • HELP-PROMPT:  Type a number between 0 and 30, 0 decimal digits.
  • DESCRIPTION:  Check-in for a clinic will generate HL7 messages to PADE in real time. Clinics that do not have check-in, there is a nightly job that can be scheduled to run on a daily basis that will generate HL7 messages to PADE. If
    there is a need for you to send clinic appointments for future days as well then populating this field will help to pull those appointments in your nightly job. We allow a maximum of 30 days, but keep this to a minimum as
    it may impact your network traffic.
